A young man struggling with depression embarks on a journey back into the world he withdrew from. We watch his first hesitant steps as he reaches out beyond himself to find a new lease on life. At its core, The Gift is a mystery about what really motivates us as we navigate through our lives.
The Gift is an exciting co-production project with Moonrise Productions and HotCakes New Media - great teams make great films! So the story begins. With the generous help and mentorship of my friends in the Ottawa Film Industry, I am launching my media production concern today. It has been my dream throughout my working life to work as a producer in narrative and documentary films. So many stories to be told that can simultaneously move, entertain and inform us all. Its a wonderful; challenge and I'm excited by this opportunity.
